ALIVE is the first exhibition of the Design Days series of Burggasse 98. The practical use of objects is no longer in the foreground of design. It is important to create new ways and to explore what design can trigger in the mind of the beholder. The exhibition invited young designers from different countries to Vienna to present their objects and research results.
ENTER is the second edition of the exhibition series Design Days and was presented as part of the Vienna Design Week 2018 at Burggasse 98. The exhibition deals with objects of digital origin. Our world understands digital processes as omnipresent. Behind tangible designs are often digital processes involved in the creation, which cannot be guessed at first glance. The selected works try to make the connection between plastic aesthetics and digital processes visible.
With works by Benedikt Stonawski, Hauke Unterburg, Tijs Gilde, OMAi, Michèle Degen, Zalán Szakács, Colin Linde, Laura Hoek, Anouk van de Sande & Vera de Pont, Filip Setmanuk, Adrianus Kundert, Daniel Rosenblatt, Martina Lasinger, Carl Rethmann, Daan Veerman, Julian Wallis, Marie Caye.
