LOT
The free-standing lamp LOT is a balancing act. It is leaned against the wall without any additional fixation and looks as if it will fall over at any moment. However, a counterweight at the bottom stabilises the lamp and ensures that it always swings towards the room with the direction of sight. This kinetic interplay and its minimalistic appearance give LOT a lightness that approaches that of light itself.
In cooperation with Julian Wallis as FOOLS GOLD.
Winner of the ein&zwanzig award of the German Design Council, shown at the Salone del Mobile 2017 and part of the kkaarrlls edition.
