TOMB TABLE
The TOMB table combines sculptural aesthetics and minimalist structure. Six identical natural stone plates are inserted into one another without any tools and carry the round glass plate on top. From the start, TOMB was designed to be repairable and recyclable. Stone slabs and glass tops can be reordered individually and all materials are free of problematic substances. In order to save as many resources as possible during transport, the table comes disassembled as a flat pack in a reusable shipping box.
The stone slabs are currently available in three versions: Pannonia Green from Burgenland, Austria, Carrara Bianco marble from Northern Italy and as the Offcut Edition made from scraps of different stone slabs.
Each plate has its own stone grain - each TOMB table is therefore unique.
TOMB table is also available in natural oak wood.

from EUR 1680 VAT incl.
MATERIALS & ORIGIN
STONE
The green slate stone slabs come from the quarry Rechnitz in Burgenland (Austria).
Hardly any other material is as durable as stone. In addition, the satin-finished surface is impregnated with natural tung oil, so it is free of contaminants and can be easily recycled. The stone slabs are cut with water jet CNC in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel. Rainwater and 100% green electricity are used in this process.
GLASS
The glass top of the TOMB table comes from the EU and is manufactured in Styria, Austria.
FITTINGS
The felt pads protect the stone slabs and also your floor. They consist of natural wool, are applied with bio-based adhesive and are therefore biodegradable.
The polyurethane knobs prevent the glass plate from sliding off the stone structure and breaking. Therefore, the special material properties of these small knobs ensure that your TOMB table can be used safely and as long as possible. Polyurethane is currently not recyclable and is disposed of with the residual waste, but we are working on an ecological alternative with the same properties.
USE & CARE
TOMB can be used as a couch or side table and, thanks to its modularity, can be set up and dismantled as often as you like. The materials of the TOMB table are particularly durable and easy to care for. To clean the stone slabs, we recommend using a damp cotton cloth and avoiding harsh household agents. TOMB is completely repairable as all of its components are replaceable. If the glass or a stone slab is damaged, you can reorder it via our webstore anteup.at. The shape of the round glass plate is a standard size that you can reorder from many local suppliers.
RECOVERY & WHAT YOU CAN DO
From the beginning the return of the components to the cycle was considered.
Should it happen that TOMB becomes unusable, there are different ways to recycle the individual parts.
